The Minister’s Conference 2010 was a life-changing experience for me, which opened my eyes to what is involved in being a good minister. As a result of attending the Minister’s Conference, I have a better understanding of the importance and necessity of world missions. There are many people who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and few people in the body of Christ have fulfilled the call to world missions as stated in Matthew 28:18-20. The entire body of Christ must realize that world missions is not the great suggestion, but the great commission or command from the Lord Jesus Himself. This is what I learned and need to apply from this point on in my life.
During the Minister’s Conference, I learned that it is important to take care of my body physically in order to be able to fulfill the call. It is important to eat healthy foods, drink water, and get the proper amount of sleep. When you are well rested you can make better decisions and respond to your family and staff better. These are principles, which can be used in the life of every believer whether they are in ministry or not.
It was a time of refreshing for me and encouragement as well. I felt the Lord was ministering to me through the various speakers and singers. My faith was built for increase in my finances and shortly thereafter, I received a large amount of money from a company that owed me money for over a year now. Based on the theme of the conference 1 Chronicles 4:10, the Lord has truly blessed me indeed and enlarged my territory. To God be all the glory!
He puts just an ounce of that love in women. Now, let me say this parenthetically, if God has called you into the workplace or called you not to bear children, great!
